(gadgetshow.five.tv) -- Sony has ripped the covers off a new pair of Giga Juke hi-fi units equipped with hard disks. The entry-level NAS-E35HD (pictured) and higher end NAS-SC55PKE let you record music from any source straight onto their HDDs, grabbing artist and track information automatically.
The E35HD has space for around 15,000 tracks on its hard drive, rips from CD at 4x speed and can transfer songs to an MP3 player or phone at 10x speed. The SC55PKE has space for 40,000 tunes, rips at 16x and transfers at 50x, plus streams audio to up to five optional client players dotted around your home. It also has x-DJ, a feature that automatically creates themed playlists from your collection based on song tempos. Both systems are coming to the UK, but Sony has yet to spill the beans on a date or price.
