Mio GPS phones launched at Computex

(about-electronics.eu/IntoMobile) -- Mio used Computex to launch two new GPS phones - Leap K1 and Leap G50. The first one, Leap K1, we initially saw at this year’s CES in Las Vegas. The dual-sided device sports a flat panel navigation system on one side, and a regular phone on the other. It features Bluetooth support, some camera and the MioMap 2008 navigation software.

Then there’s the Mio Leap G50, the GPS-equipped Windows Mobile 6.1 smartphone, which thanks to Microsoft’s mobile OS offers alot more from navigation. The device sports a 2.8-inch touchscreen with “intuitive finger tip control,” MioMap 2008 software, 2 megapixel camera, Bluetooth. 400Mhz CPU provides all the processing power device requires…

Both phones will be launched in Asia in the Q3 2008. No word when or whether they’ll hit Europe and/or North America.
