Firefighters: Blaze Intentionally Set
KANSAS CITY, Mo. (kctv5.com) -- A 2-year-old girl who was home alone was injured in a house fire on Saturday morning that firefighters said was intentionally set.
The blaze started on the front porch of the house at East 62nd Street and South Benton Avenue and quickly spread inside, firefighters said.
A neighbor saw the blaze and called 911.
When firefighters arrived, smoke had filled the house and flames were shooting from the roof, but that didn't stop them from rushing inside and pulling the young girl from the burning house. They found her in a back bedroom between a bedroom door and a closet
